The Congregation

The Congregation

Christ Church is a "family sized" parish, and its people are caring, congenial, active, and talented. Christ Church has roughly 150 active baptized members. For the past several years, average Sunday attendance has ranged from fifty to fifty-five. Parishioners are mostly in their middle years and older, although there are a few families with young children.

Members of Christ Church have participated in various diocesan matters, some having served, for instance, on the Executive Council, the Standing Committee, the Commission on Ministry, the Ecclesiastical Court, and the Board of Directors for the Waycross Camp and Conference Center.

We are part of the Episcopal Church in the United States, which in turn is part of the global Anglican Communion.  Each week, we pray especially for members, other churches in the Diocese of Indianapolis, and provinces of the Communion.
